About the team PICO Enteprise team connects the business world with XR technology and devices. We offer the broadest range of models to meet any use-case where XR can impact patient care, corporate training, location based entertainment, or educating the next generation of students.The new business commercial director will have existing commercial relationships with at least one of the following vertical areas: Training, Education, Healthcare, or LBE. This person will make connections between ISV and end customer to ensure that PICO maintains it's leadership position as the primary dedicated enterprise XR devices company.
As the Overseas Offline Sales Manager, you will be the architect of PICO’s physical retail presence across international markets. You are responsible for building and managing a robust offline distribution network, ensuring brand consistency in experience centers, and driving massive sell-through via retail partners. You must embrace challenges in diverse regulatory environments and lead PICO to become the top brand in offline channels.
Responsibilities:
- Global Channel Architecture & Expansion
- Market Entry: Identify and penetrate "Greenfield" markets, establishing PICO’s offline footprint from 0 to 1.
- Distributor Management: Recruit and manage top-tier national distributors. Handle complex negotiations with a candid and direct style to ensure favorable commercial terms.
- Retail Partnerships: Secure prime "Experience Zone" placements in major global electronics retailers (e.g., Best Buy, MediaMarkt, Harvey Norman, Jarir).
- Operational Excellence & Delivery
- Sell-through Ownership: Move beyond "Sell-in" to take full accountability for retail "Sell-out" performance.
- Inventory & Logistics: Partner with Supply Chain to optimize global stock turnover and minimize aged inventory across overseas warehouses.
- Cost-per-Sale Optimization: Manage the regional sales budget, maximizing the ROI of Marketing Development Funds (MDF).
- In-Store Experience & Field Force Management
- Experience-Led Sales: Standardize the VR/MR demo flow to ensure every customer has a "Wow" moment within the first 3 minutes.
- Agency Governance: Oversee third-party field-force agencies. Ensure promoters are highly trained, "PICO-certified," and hitting their daily conversion targets.
- Visual Merchandising (VM): Audit global retail displays to ensure PICO’s premium brand image is maintained across all latitudes.
- Stakeholder & Strategic Alignment
- Bridge the gap between Global HQ (Product/R&D) and North America Markets to ensure product roadmaps align with overseas consumer feedback.
- Coordinate with Legal/Compliance on international trade regulations and data residency requirements.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in International Offline Sales or Channel Management within premium Consumer Electronics (e.g., Smartphones, Drones, High-end Gaming).
- Proven experience managing multi-country territories.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally (approximately 10–20%).
- Strong results-driven mindset with the ability to perform under high-demand KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage challenging partners professionally and diplomatically.
