What you'd actually do

  1. Manages the activities of NA Research services Sales organization in support of achieving sales objectives.
  2. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle research services to drive growth across Commercial, Real-World Evidence (RWE), Clinical, Regulatory, and Safety research services within pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations.
  3. Contributes to strategic and tactical planning for the global research services team.
  4. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff.
  5. Participates in the recruiting process and makes hiring decisions.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5–10+ years of experience in sales management within life sciences, pharmaceutical research, consulting, or healthcare data services
  • Demonstrated experience managing sellers across multiple service lines
  • Deep understanding of the drug development, regulatory, and commercialization lifecycle
  • Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales systems and pipeline across a team for accurate forecasting, targeting and deal qualification.
  • Strong relationships with and credibility among senior-level decision-makers in pharmaceutical and biotech organizations
  • Experience working with complex commercial arrangements and innovative partnership models
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
