Figure AI is an AI Robotics company developing a general-purpose humanoid robot. This role focuses on New Product Introduction (NPI) and managing design changes during prototype, pilot, and production builds. Responsibilities include managing the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), tracking ECNs, performing impact analysis, and collaborating with various teams to ensure build readiness and product development efficiency. The role requires experience in NPI, manufacturing processes, BOM management, supply chain logistics, and PLM systems, with a preference for CAD and configuration management tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials): Ensure accuracy, completeness, and availability of all components needed for each build.
  2. Track implementation of ECNs and design changes, ensuring all updates are reflected in the MBOM and process documentation
  3. Perform or coordinate change impact analysis
  4. Identify and resolve defects in part metadata, including revision discrepancies, missing attributes, or incomplete structures
  5. Collaborate with design, supply chain, and build teams to validate that build content matches design intent

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of experience in NPI, manufacturing, or project management.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Strong understanding of PLM systems and release workflows
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and concepts such as CAs, ECOs, ECNs, and Issues.
  • Proficiency in CAD, BOM,and configuration management authoring tools
  • Familiarity with ERP, WMS, and MES tools.
  • Strong task and item tracking, analysis, and reporting skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to drive accountability.

Nice to have

  • 3DExperience (3DX) Enovia, Delmia, and CATIA experience is strongly preferred
  • scripting or Python experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
