Numerical Control Programmer (associate or Mid-level)

This role involves numerical control programming for metals machining, including high-speed 5-axis machining. Responsibilities include establishing technical requirements, creating and verifying machine control data, geometry, and documentation, and identifying equipment and approaches. The role requires experience with numerical control programming and CATIA V5.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
  2. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
  3. Identifies equipment and approaches, coordinates and assigns work and trains/mentors others.
  4. Works under minimal direction.
  5. Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.

Skills

Required

  • 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Associate Level)
  • 1 or more years' Experience in Numerical Control programming
  • 1 or more years' Experience with programming using CATIA V5
