This role involves numerical control programming and quality assurance for manufacturing parts, tools, and assemblies using PC-DMIS and CATIA software. The primary focus is on ensuring the quality and conformance of manufactured aircraft components.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.
  2. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
  3. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
  4. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
  5. Works under general direction.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in programming in PC-DMIS.
  • 3+ years of experience in ENOVIA/ CATIA.
  • 3+ years of knowledge of reading/ interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Willing to work 3rd shift.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge in interpreting engineering GD&T tolerances.
