Joby Aviation is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to provide case management, health and risk reduction, workplace hazard detection, reporting on occupational health and safety incidents, and first aid. The role involves developing and implementing health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, documenting employee injuries and illnesses, and providing follow-up on Workers’ Compensation cases. The nurse will also treat injuries and illnesses, counsel employees on health issues, and support a company-wide safety culture. This position requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of experience, and a California RN license.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement health and safety programs
  2. Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal processes and procedures
  3. Document all employee injuries and illnesses within the workplace
  4. Provide follow-up on Workers’ Compensation cases, ensuring employee treatment is documented and appropriate paperwork is completed
  5. Treat injuries and illnesses for employees, including follow-ups and referrals

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Adult CPR, AED & First Aid Certification
  • Ability to be flexible, work under pressure, multitask, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Must be a team player

Nice to have

  • Occupational health, emergency, or clinic nursing experience
  • Knowledge of applicable OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience with emergency response and crisis management
