This internship focuses on network development engineering within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), emphasizing network reliability, automation, and support for a large-scale global network. The role involves supporting the design, deployment, and operations of OCI networks, including developing network automation solutions and providing break-fix support. It is part of a program designed for transitioning military veterans and military spouses.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supports the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Primarily focused on the development and support of network fabric and systems through a combination of a deep level understanding of networking at the protocol level coupled with programming skills.
  2. Participates in network solution and architecture design process.
  3. Participate in operational support rotations as primary and secondary.
  4. Provide break-fix support for events. Serve as the escalation point for event remediation. Lead post-event root cause analysis.
  5. Join major event/incident calls, use technical and analytical skills to resolve network issues that impact Oracle customers/services
