This role is for an Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Shift Group Leader at Intel, responsible for managing technicians in a manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring performance, development, and employee relations, creating roadmaps to meet goals in safety, quality, availability, velocity, affordability, and training. Responsibilities include supervising product teams, assessing personnel and material levels, assigning tasks, monitoring workflow, establishing operating policies, and ensuring overall safety. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering results through people in a high-performing team culture.

What you'd actually do

  1. Set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
  2. Responsible for supervising the activities of product teams or staff in a manufacturing area.
  3. Assigns personnel and monitors the flow of work in process through the manufacturing facility.
  4. Establish operating policies and procedures, coordination of multiple functions within a manufacturing facility, establishing strategic plans to ensure production schedules are met within established quality and cost objectives.
  5. Responsible for overall safety of personnel, company assets, and the surrounding environment.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry

Nice to have

  • A demonstrated aptitude to interact with vendor field service engineering support - and manufacturing technicians on toolsets.
  • Previous people management and/or leadership experience
  • Technical expertise within Semiconductor Process engineering and be able to provide technical direction on quality issues.
  • Data analysis skills and have a good understanding of basic statistics.
