CoreWeave is seeking an Offensive Security Engineer to identify and mitigate security risks across internal and external systems. Responsibilities include penetration testing, threat modeling, code reviews, researching emerging threats, developing security tooling, and enforcing security best practices. The role requires proficiency in programming/scripting languages, hands-on penetration testing experience, and strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform penetration testing as well as purple and red team exercises.
  2. Conduct threat modeling, code reviews, and design reviews for development teams.
  3. Research new attack techniques and develop strategies to counter them.
  4. Develop and enforce security best practices and standards, maintaining internal compliance.
  5. Provide solutions to complex security issues, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
