Your Responsibilities
As a Weld Manufacturing Engineer for JD Ottumwa Works based in Ottumwa, IA, you will:
- Support the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP)
- Plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work for a project or process.
- Operate in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process

What Skills You Need
- Background in Engineering (mechanical, welding, industrial)
- Knowledge of manufacturing and or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities
- Expertise with engineering tools, systems, and databases
What Makes You Standout
- Experience with robotic weld systems (Fanuc)
- Strong familiarity with engineering tools, systems, and databases
- Project management and business planning expertise
- Understanding of line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance, and management tools
- Manufacturing engineering expertise and supporting weld and assembly processes, quality, tooling, tool design, PLCs, robotic systems, facilities
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience
