This role is an Onboarding Operations Specialist 1 at Twilio, focusing on global phone number operations. The specialist will assist customers with porting phone numbers, procuring Sender IDs, and accessing necessary phone numbers for their applications. Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries via email, assessing and resolving basic-to-intermediate issues, logging interactions, learning new processes, responding to carrier notifications, and triaging complex issues to a Level 2 team. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, experience in advanced email writing and international stakeholder handling, and the ability to monitor tasks and queues to ensure SLAs are met. Experience with SQL, Zendesk, and JIRA are considered advantageous.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide support for common customer inquiries received by email to ensure customers have an excellent experience with Twilio.
  2. Assess the nature of product or service issues and resolve basic-to-intermediate level problems.
  3. Log customer interactions and tag/categorize issues accordingly.
  4. Learn new processes across a variety of subject areas and ensure our operations are running smoothly.
  5. Respond to and action incoming carrier partner notifications.
