This role is for an Oncology Clinical Consultant at Oracle, focused on guiding healthcare customers through the design and adoption of clinical and business processes, specifically related to electronic health records. The consultant will manage customer relationships, provide subject matter expertise, and ensure successful value realization through effective change management and workflow reviews. The role requires a strong background in oncology clinical practice and experience with healthcare information technology.

What you'd actually do

  1. An experienced Oncology professional with a broad understanding of practices and solutions responsible for guiding customers through the change process required to achieve defined key performance indicators related to adoption of the electronic health record across services.
  2. Utilizing effective consulting skills during project events, the Clinical Consultant will coordinate integration of clinical activities and workflow reviews, facilitate business process change and provide change management consulting to ensure that organizational aspects are addressed as new enabling technologies are implemented.
  3. In doing so, the job requires focus on change management and end user adoption.
  4. This role engages with staff and leadership from Federal customers and members of the broader Oracle clinical and technical teams.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • 8 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education
  • 5-years licensed health care practice
  • 3 years Oncology/Hematology clinical experience
  • 1-year clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience
  • Registered Nurse - State Board license
  • understanding personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets
  • work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in Informatics
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and/or Biotherapy certification
  • Experience with Oncology clinical research or clinical trials
  • Background in working with Federal agencies
  • Experience implementing large scale E.H.R. (Electronic Health Record) projects
