This role is for a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist in Oncology, focusing on selling therapeutics and achieving sales objectives within a specific territory. It requires a bachelor's degree, sales experience, and knowledge of the healthcare market.

What you'd actually do

  1. Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics.
  2. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the product's clinical efficacy, articulate a value proposition for the customer, provide clinical support/information as needed, and achieve their sales objectives.
  3. Conduct business analysis, actively prospect for new business within assigned accounts and call plan direction, develop account strategies with District Manager (i.e., identifies key accounts, develops specific plans for penetration).
  4. Develop customer-specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, probes, and supporting approved materials.
  5. Optimally penetrate new and current accounts to increase sales in the assigned territory.

Skills

Required

  • bachelor's degree
  • Valid driver's license
  • two (2) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic / biotech, or medical device sales experience
  • Experience in hospital and large account sales
  • handling sophisticated reimbursement issues
  • Medicare Part D
  • successful sales performance in a driven environment
  • Willingness to satisfy reasonable credentialing requirements
  • annual background checks
