Operations Automation Business Associate

JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase · Banking · Mumbai, Maharashtra, India · Commercial & Investment Bank

This role focuses on defining requirements for the adoption of AI capabilities within Securities Services Operations. The associate will translate user needs into functional requirements, model processes, and ensure traceability. A key responsibility is specifying AI guardrails, evaluation approaches, and human-in-the-loop requirements for firm-approved AI platforms, enabling scaled adoption without directly writing automation code.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with Global Custody, Fund Services, Middle Office, and other product lines to elicit user requirements, target outcomes, and SLAs through workshops and interviews.
  2. Document current-state processes and pain points, and translate findings into structured requirements artifacts for delivery teams.
  3. Author and maintain a layered requirements stack (user requirements, functional requirements, and technical design inputs) and drive stakeholder alignment and sign-off.
  4. Leverage firm-approved AI capabilities by specifying AI guardrails, evaluation approaches, human-in-the-loop requirements, and design inputs (e.g., inference integration and observability).

Nice to have
