Operations Data Analytics Manager (hybrid)

This role supports strategic operations and supply chain initiatives within RTX, a major aerospace and defense company. The ideal candidate will have a consulting mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), strategy consulting, or supply chain/manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include applying structured problem-solving, synthesizing data into insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating findings to senior leadership.

  1. Apply a structured problem-solving approach to diagnose challenges, identify opportunities, and develop actionable solutions for complex business challenges.
  2. Synthesize large datasets and unstructured information into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.
  3. Leverage advanced analytics tools and techniques to uncover opportunities for operational optimization and cost reduction.
  4. Collaborate and consult with stakeholders to shape strategic priorities and align initiatives with organizational goals.
  5. Contribute to the development of business cases and strategy roadmaps for high-impact projects.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience (5 years with advanced degree) working in in data analysis, FP&A, strategy consulting, applied to Supply Chain/Operations/Manufacturing

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong business acumen with proven record for delivering measurable impact.
  • Experience at a consulting firm or in a strategy-focused role within a multinational organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Master’s degree preferred
