This role is for an Operations Generalist in the Mission Systems Division of Anduril Industries, a defense technology company. The role involves managing day-to-day business operations, including financial tracking, staffing, process improvement, and strategic projects. While the company utilizes AI and related technologies, this specific role focuses on business operations and does not involve direct AI/ML development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive day-to-day business operations for the Mission Systems Division. This would include financial tracking, staffing/hiring, facilities expansion/maintenance, special projects, process improvement, corporate governance, etc. and working with cross functional partners across these domains.
  2. Manage the Business Line P&Ls in partnership with a FP&A partner to track financial health of budget against goals, drive actions to maintain operating expenses with budget, assess financial data and create strategies to drive toward margin targets, etc.
  3. Drive content preparation for Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews for presentation to Anduril Executives.
  4. Engage with Business Line leaders and program managers to track and report out status and risks.
  5. Drive annual planning for the Mission Systems Division as part of the corporate planning cycle.

What the JD emphasized
