Operations Lead, Financial Business Group Apac

Uber Uber · Consumer · Tokyo, Japan · Operations

Operations Lead for Uber's financial services business in APAC, focusing on end-to-end product development, lifecycle management, business case development, stakeholder management, and go-to-market strategies for products like co-branded credit cards, pay-later solutions, and digital wallets.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will own the end-to-end development and lifecycle management of new spender financial products across APAC, with full accountability from initial concept through post-launch optimization.
  2. This includes building robust business cases informed by market and financial analysis; leading discovery through in-depth stakeholder interviews, partner discussions, and voice-of-customer research to identify unmet user needs; and developing detailed cost models, forecasts, and investment plans to ensure sustainable unit economics.
  3. You will drive the end-to-end sourcing process with our respective cross-functional teams, including RFI/RFP development, partner evaluation, commercial negotiations, and governance approvals, while working closely with legal, risk, compliance, and regional teams to meet local regulatory requirements.
  4. In parallel, you will define and execute go-to-market and marketing strategies, establish feedback loops to measure adoption, engagement, and satisfaction, and lead post-launch governance to monitor performance, manage partners, mitigate risk, and continuously iterate on product features and customer experience.
