Operations Lead, Gift Cards

This role is for an Operations Lead for Uber's Gifting program, focusing on strategy, performance, and expansion of gift cards, physical items, and subscriptions. The individual will manage the Gifting P&L, develop long-term strategy, and partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and external partners to drive growth. Key responsibilities include strategy development, experimentation for growth opportunities, managing third-party relationships, and stakeholder management across various internal teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Strategy: You will be in the team that owns the growth and PnL of the US and Canada gifting team. We expect the candidate to be proactive in order to find creative solutions for our growth challenges and remove road blockers;
  2. Experiment: Perform analysis and experiments to find growth opportunities for the Financial Products at Uber and taking these insights into larger executable programs.
  3. Own relationships with 3rd parties: Be the main POC on the gifting team for 3rd parties that specialize in managing the gifting payment flow to drive efficient operations and strategic growth.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Be the main POC for internal stakeholders who are developing gifting capabilities in house to ensure Operations, Product, Engineering, Data Science and Marketing are all operating in sync and efficiently.
