Operations Lead for the Chief Strategy Officer at Harvey, a company transforming legal and professional services with agentic AI. What you'd actually do

  1. Support the CSO’s engagement with the judiciary, bar associations, legal educators, and policymakers on AI in legal practice.
  2. Partner with the CSO to define Harvey's go-to-market strategy for high-value enterprise verticals.
  3. Own and continuously refine the CSO's operating cadence, including staff meetings, 1:1s, exec forums, and external engagements.
  4. Partner with the CSO to translate company vision into clear, actionable priorities and annual/quarterly plans.
  5. Serve as connective tissue between Strategy, Product, GTM, Legal, Finance, and People — ensuring alignment on priorities, dependencies, and resourcing.

Skills

Required

  • 7–10+ years of experience in strategy and operations or Chief of Staff roles at high-growth technology companies, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with C-level executives on strategy, planning, and cross-functional execution.
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives that span product, GTM, finance, legal, and people.
  • Ability to take ambiguous, complex problems and drive them to structured plans and clear outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — you can write crisp, executive-ready docs and communicate clearly across technical, legal, and business audiences.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable using data to inform decisions, define success metrics, and track outcomes.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency — you use AI tools in your day-to-day work, have a point of view on AI in legal and regulated industries, and can engage credibly with technical and business leaders.
