Operations Manager for AI & Core Service, GSO (Global Sales Operation) at AWS Korea. This role partners with sales leadership to ensure operational excellence, drive pipeline growth, and enable leaders to focus on customer engagement and revenue generation within the AI/ML, GenAI, and other specialized domains. The position involves strategic definition of sales support systems and processes, including the adoption of AI and Cloud market opportunities, and the identification and adoption of AI-powered productivity tools and automation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the strategic operations owner and business partner to AI STO & Specialist sales leadership, driving operational rigor and enabling leaders to focus on most strategic growth vectors
  2. Own end-to-end business cadences including Annual Planning, MBRs (2x2), QBRs, territory design, quota setting, headcount management, and compensation plan execution
  3. Drive pipeline inspection and growth strategies, identifying and resolving stalled opportunities to maximize revenue potential across AI STO and Specialist domains
  4. Develop and maintain standardized reporting and insights (KPIs, goal tracking, trend analysis) that support data-driven decision-making for senior leadership
  5. Identify, adopt, and champion AI-powered productivity tools and automation — including Salesforce, Amazon QuickSight, Amazon Q, and Internal GenAI-based analytics — to streamline workflows and surface insights at speed and scale

Skills

Required

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in software development and experience in managing and troublshooting network
  • Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences
  • Experience with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems

Nice to have

  • MBA, or Bachelor's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources or related field
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning), GenAI (Generative AI), Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
  • Understanding of AI/ML technology landscape, GenAI services, and cloud computing fundamentals
  • Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Experience managing or leading cross-functional programs or transformation initiatives
