Upstart is an AI lending marketplace that partners with banks and credit unions to expand access to affordable credit. This role is for an Operations Manager on the Personal Loans team, responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing team production and outcomes, and providing leadership to associates and Associate Operations Managers. The manager will ensure the team meets KPIs like productivity, turnaround times, and quality, and will collaborate with other departments to optimize strategies and processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Personal Loans team, ensuring efficient and effective workflows and processes.
  2. Help develop and implement strategies to optimize team performance and achieve department goals and targets.
  3. Monitor team performance metrics and KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, including Product and Engineering, Learning and Development, and Quality assurance to ensure seamless operations and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  5. Prepare and present reports and updates on team performance, including key metrics, trends, and areas of improvement to senior management.
