Operations Project Management Manager at Northrop Grumman, responsible for managing production execution, cost, and schedule for military laser and EO/IR systems. This role interfaces between business divisions and manufacturing, leads proposal efforts, manages teams, and ensures manufacturing resources are secured. What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the production execution for all programs.
  2. Manage Manufacturing cost and schedule performance.
  3. Serve as Manufacturing lead for all proposals.
  4. Create and lead teams to resolve the issues adversely impacting the Manufacturing execution of the programs.
  5. Serve as manufacturing team liaison to/from program management office (PMO), engineering, manufacturing operations, global supply chain, mission assurance and customers.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience; OR a or master’s degree with 6 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • 5 or more years of experience leading people and/or projects.
  • 2 or more years of direct people leadership experience.
  • Experience working in Manufacturing, Engineering, Test, Production, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, Project Engineering, IPT, Operations Project Management (OPM), or similar roles.
  • Experience with SAP and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Experience leading Manufacturing proposal efforts that include labor quoting, schedule and capacity analysis, investment planning, and descriptive writing contributions.
  • Control Account Management and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • US Citizenship required.
