Intel Intel · Semiconductors · Arizona, Phoenix, United States +2

Designs, develops, and applies advanced engineering and mathematical models, including simulation and optimization frameworks, to solve complex Intel manufacturing and supply chain challenges. Focuses on fabrication and assembly/test environments, building and deploying decision algorithms, heuristics, optimization models, and simulation tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, develop, and apply advanced engineering and mathematical models, including simulation and optimization frameworks, to drive innovative solutions for complex Intel manufacturing and supply chain challenges.
  2. Identify and solve highly complex problems across factory performance, production loading, equipment optimization, decision science, and supply and distribution network operations, requiring deep understanding of fabrication (Fab) and assembly/test (A/T) environments combined with comprehensive supply chain expertise.
  3. Build, develop, validate, and deploy mathematically-based decision algorithms, heuristics, optimization models, and simulation tools while working collaboratively with business units to identify root causes, define strategic and tactical requirements, and implement appropriate business and technical solutions.
  4. Leverage formal technical training, extensive business knowledge, and sound engineering judgment to develop comprehensive solutions that address complex operational challenges and drive measurable improvements in manufacturing efficiency and supply chain performance.
