Lyft is seeking an Operations Specialist for its Citi Bike program in New York City. The role involves supporting operational plans, ensuring service quality, and improving the bikeshare system. Responsibilities include managing daily field operations, supporting ebike battery charging, handling invoicing and asset tracking, analyzing operational issues, and communicating with stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of operations experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure smooth daily field operations: create/refine playbooks and SOPs, oversee aspects of operating partner relationship management, and travel across New York City to perform regular quality checks in field and depot
  2. Support operating partner’s ebike battery charging operation, including managing battery inventory counts, auditing charging processes, and coordinating across teams for equipment troubleshooting
  3. Own end-to-end invoicing processes and asset tracking and management tools for bike deployments and spare parts to support the success of the business
  4. Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify root causes of operational issues, using insights from field operations and data to collaborate with teams, implement solutions, and drive performance improvements
  5. Assist in managing the Citi Bike service delivery operation - handling special requests for partner events, supporting system rebalancing needs, and gradually growing to understand system health metrics more broadly
