What you'd actually do

  1. Provide frontline leadership on the shopfloor by day-to day supervision including daily production output tracking, mentoring and coaching
  2. Responsible for escalating and communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  3. Manage the allocation of resources to ensure delivery of day-to-day operational demands whilst also supporting company-wide activities.
  4. Effectively manage and allocate headcount resource using resource scheduler, flexibility & training matrix, etc.
  5. Facilitate problem identification and root cause resolution with team to ensure customer service levels are achieved.

Skills

Required

  • Higher National Diploma in Management or related discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory management role within a similar environment
  • Working knowledge of world class manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of a regulated industry
  • Experience of managing multiple operational teams within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • The application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Use of KPIs to improve business performance
  • Ability to deliver production plans on time and to budget
  • Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders and other site leaders
