This role is for an operator at Caterpillar, focusing on safety, quality, performance, cost control, equipment maintenance, 5S, and standardization in an industrial manufacturing setting. It requires understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes, with a preference for experience in machining, heat treatment, assembly, or lean manufacturing.

What you'd actually do

  1. 100% strictly according to the safety operation manual, ensuring the safety of oneself and others in the work, promptly identifying and eliminating safety hazards.
  2. 100% strictly according to JIS documents, ensuring the production of qualified and high-quality products, flowing to the next process.
  3. Reasonably control production level and production performance, with a production rate of over 90%.
  4. Good control over the use of consumables in this position, and the custody and maintenance of fixtures, measuring tools, and tools, so as to greatly reduce costs.
  5. 100% strictly operate according to the equipment operation manual (MOI), perform TPM inspections every shift, ensure normal equipment operation, report abnormalities promptly, and ensure production needs.
  6. Strive to achieve the 5S assessment standards, ensure the cleanliness of the equipment itself and the ground, and keep materials and other tools, measuring tools in this position neat and orderly.
  7. 100% strictly follow standardized operations to ensure consistent processing rhythm and material flow.

Skills

Required

  • At least one year of work experience in a manufacturing enterprise in the mechanical industry (e.g., track shoe)
