This role provides analytical support for Global Markets sales, trading, and underwriting businesses within Bank of America. Responsibilities include research, reporting, exception handling for FX transactions, and contributing to process enhancements. A working knowledge of AI tools is desired but not required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the businesses overall strategies and learn how we operate.
  2. Contribute to the development of business intelligence to support performance analysis and process enhancements to deliver a sustainable design model.
  3. Performs research and conducts standard analyses using established techniques, including transactions that require special handling and exception handling
  4. Explores methods to enhance processes, further reduce risks, and boost client experience
  5. Partners with colleagues on the trade and sales support teams, as well as external agents

Skills

Required

  • 1-3 years of capital markets experience
  • 1-3 years of Microsoft excel experience
  • An effective and clear communicator across various levels within the organization with an ability to influence positive outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage workload through fluctuating volume periods; ability to multi task whilst managing competing priorities and deliveries.
  • Self-motivated individual who demonstrates and encourages collaboration within and beyond his/her team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Logical approach to problem solving; intellectually curious
  • Continuous learner with a desire to become a subject matter expert within the team.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience with various data analysis tasks
