Oracle Finance Cloud Functional Consultant

This role is for an Oracle Finance Cloud Functional Consultant at Deloitte, focusing on providing end-to-end functional support for Oracle Fusion Financials. Responsibilities include maintaining production stability, ensuring accurate accounting and tax results, managing release updates, troubleshooting functional issues, and collaborating with technical teams on integrations and security. The role also involves leading finance programs, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and providing user training and ongoing production support within the transportation and logistics sector.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end functional support for Oracle Fusion Financials, maintaining production stability, enabling on-time month/quarter close, ensuring accurate accounting and tax results, and governing delivery of fixes and enhancements across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM)
  2. Bring deep Oracle Fusion Financials expertise across the modules listed, with a strong focus on close execution and reconciliations.
  3. Own release management by reviewing, assessing, and testing quarterly Oracle Fusion Cloud releases and patches, coordinating business validation and deployment readiness.
  4. Troubleshoot functional issues spanning interfaces/imports (e.g., file-based loads), workflows/approvals, and accounting.
  5. Operate within ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change processes; provide clear stakeholder communication and tight release coordination.
