Oracle Hcm Lead – Project Delivery Specialist

This role is for an experienced Oracle HCM Lead responsible for Tier 2/3 application support, incident management, problem management, change management, and overseeing quarterly updates for Oracle HCM Cloud modules. The role also involves managing functional configuration, security administration, monitoring integrations, leading vendor support cases, producing operational artifacts, and mentoring support analysts. The team focuses on enhancing customer relationships through innovative strategies and technologies, including Generative AI, but this specific role is centered on application support and delivery within an enterprise context.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Tier 2/3 application support for Oracle HCM Cloud (e.g., Global HR, Core HR, Absence, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, Security; Payroll if in scope).
  2. Own incident management: triage, prioritization, stakeholder communication, escalation, and SLA adherence.
  3. Drive problem management: root cause analysis, recurring issue elimination, defect backlog management, and knowledge base development.
  4. Govern change management: configuration controls, approvals, release impact assessment, regression testing coordination, and deployment readiness.
  5. Oversee Oracle quarterly updates: review release notes, identify impacts, plan testing, and coordinate remediation.

Skills

Required

  • 5+yrs experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud in a production environment with responsibility for incident/problem/change practices.
  • Strong understanding of HCM business processes and ability to translate policy into configuration and support outcomes.
  • Experience leading a support team or acting as a functional lead in an AMS (application managed services) or internal support model.
  • Familiarity with testing practices (smoke/regression/UAT) and environment coordination.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and escalation judgment.
