Oracle Health Manager - Client Support

This role is for an IT Support Manager at Oracle Health, overseeing the End User Technologies Team responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of Oracle Cerner's 3rd party applications within MU Health Care. The manager will handle team leadership, vendor management, inter-departmental coordination, technical support, policy development, compliance (including HIPAA), disaster recovery, budget management, and reporting to senior leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the End User Applications Team, including hiring, onboarding, training, and supervising staff
  2. Manage vendor relationships and contracts, including negotiating and renewing contracts
  3. Manage departmental relationships throughout the health system and ensure everyone is in sync regarding current as well as upcoming projects/priorities
  4. Provide technical support to departments and end-users throughout the health system and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner
  5. Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in IT support
  • Strong technical skills in IT infrastructure, networking, and security
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • At least 2 years in a management role preferred
  • Experience working in a health system/medical setting is preferred
  • Experience managing/maintaining applications and end users in an enterprise environment
