Senior Research Consultant role in Oncology Epidemiology within Oracle Life Sciences, focusing on research, analytics, report writing, and client support for syndicated products and custom consulting projects. Requires advanced degree in epidemiology and experience in oncology research and statistical analysis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collection and analysis of epidemiology research.
  2. Candidate is expected to have experience and working knowledgeable of diagnostic and procedure codes. Candidate is also expected to have experience conducting scientific literature review.
  3. Keen ability to understand and make sense of data and how to appropriately use it in calculations, including patient flow calculations.
  4. Develop advanced quantitative epidemiological models from published and/or registry data, resulting in an estimation of potential patient populations within specific indications / diseases, by relevant segments. Models need to be adaptable and may require functionality to allow users to adjust input values and easily see summary views.
  5. Update and maintain the data tables and all supporting information into the database that is the foundation for Oracle Life Science’s CancerMPact Patient Metrics

  • Advanced degree in epidemiology field of study, preferable MPH (Master of Public Health) or Doctorate in Epidemiology.

  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis software tools (e.g. SAS, SPSS or STATA).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong oncology research background with experience conducting literature reviews
  • Experience with quantitative epidemiological and scientific analysis.
