This role is for a Module Equipment Technician in semiconductor manufacturing, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. It involves electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, equipment repair, calibration, and preventative maintenance. The role supports engineers in data collection and experiments to improve tool performance. It requires technical certifications or related experience in equipment maintenance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in nonfunctioning manufacturing equipment.
  2. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and install/assemble equipment following layout plans, blueprints, repair manuals, and technical drawings.
  3. Conduct setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, coordinating supplier services for repairs when required.
  4. Monitor and analyze equipment data to enhance tool performance and address tool/module-related issues.
  5. Create detailed reports on system failures, update existing specifications, and develop new specifications to support equipment maintenance and performance goals.

Skills

Required

  • HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 1+ year Technical certification or related trade school
  • HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 2+ years related hands on experience OR military technical experience
  • HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 1+ in related equip maintenance experience
  • Associate degree in a STEM related technical field

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in working with hand tools, meters, and calibration tools.
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment, fab maintenance, or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
