This role is for an Order Management professional to join the International Revenue Accounting Team at Anthropic. The primary responsibilities include developing and scaling international order management processes, resolving complex billing scenarios, leading UAT for new product launches, supporting accounting close activities, and developing operational metrics. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing processes and systems, and establishing controls and documentation. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in Billing/Order Management in high-growth SaaS/technology companies, with a strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes and billing systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive aspects of order management and billing operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  2. Independently resolve complex billing scenarios, including contract modifications, usage disputes, and non-standard pricing structures
  3. Lead comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new product launches and influence product introduction processes by providing expert guidance on billing and order management implications
  4. Support monthly accounting close activities, including contract review, usage validation, invoice verification, journal entries, and analytics
  5. Develop and track operational metrics to support strategic decision-making

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Billing/Order Management within high-growth SaaS/technology companies, including 5+ years in a reviewer role
  • Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
  • Expert understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes for SaaS, covering both subscription and consumption-based business models across B2B and B2C products
  • Extensive experience with contracting systems, billing platforms, payment processors, and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Stripe, NetSuite, Oracle, Workday Financial, Zuora)
  • Proven track record leading large-scale strategic initiatives end-to-end, in high growth technology environments
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and influence without direct authority

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
