Order Support Manager at Caterpillar, responsible for ensuring smooth and timely execution of customer orders from initiation through delivery. Acts as a communication link between Sales/Customers and Plant operations, managing order-related information, documentation, risks, and status updates. Supports operational planning through reporting, project coordination, and adherence to internal processes to achieve on-time delivery and revenue targets.

What you'd actually do

  1. Schedule and facilitate order kickoff meetings, prepare agendas, and record accurate meeting minutes.
  2. Serve as the primary focal point between Sales/Customer and the Plant, ensuring clear and timely communication at all stages.
  3. Disseminate project information, status updates, and key documentation to all stakeholders.
  4. Identify, track, and monitor project risks and issues, and coordinate with stakeholders to develop mitigation or action plans.
  5. Prepare and publish monthly reports.

  • Strong understanding of production workflows, documentation processes, and cross-functional coordination.
