Lead a team of technicians supporting Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) in Intel's manufacturing factories, ensuring reliability, availability, and performance. What you'd actually do

  1. Provide direct leadership and supervision for a shift-based team of AMHS technicians supporting factory operations
  2. Set daily and shift priorities to ensure effective execution of maintenance, troubleshooting, and system support activities
  3. Own day-to-day functional management, including performance management, coaching, training, and technician development
  4. Ensure operational coverage, staffing levels, and workload balance meet defined factory, safety, and quality requirements
  5. Monitor, track, and report key operational metrics, shift performance indicators, and system availability data

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Operations Management or any other related field OR equivalent of 2+ years of management experience

Nice to have

  • Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) or similar highly automated manufacturing systems
  • Factory business acumen, demonstrated through successful support of manufacturing operations and alignment with factory priorities
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with internal and cross site stakeholders to resolve systemic issues and drive operational improvements
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including communication, alignment, and execution across organizational boundaries
  • Experience leading teams in a shift based or 24x7 manufacturing environment
