You’ll join the Operational Resilience team at PayPal Europe, working in a dynamic and highly regulated environment. The team partners closely with Global functions, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure robust governance and oversight of critical services.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with teams across Europe and globally, supporting the smooth operation of outsourcing governance. Your work will contribute to maintaining high standards of compliance and ensuring PayPal continues to deliver reliable services to its customers.
Your way to impact
You will play an important role in ensuring PayPal Europe’s outsourcing governance framework operates effectively and meets regulatory expectations (CSSF, ECB). By maintaining accurate records, supporting governance processes, and enabling effective stakeholder coordination, you will help ensure transparency, control, and operational resilience.
This role provides strong exposure to regulatory frameworks, governance processes, and cross-functional collaboration in an international environment.
Your day to day
In your day-to-day role, you will:
- Maintain outsourcing records, registers, and trackers to a high standard suitable for regulatory review
- Support governance processes, including preparing meeting materials, agendas, and minutes for forums and committees
- Track agreements, renewals, and regulatory notifications to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met
- Coordinate with stakeholders (Entity Service Owners, Affiliate Services, Risk, Compliance) to support effective oversight
- Assist with regulatory submissions and documentation for outsourcing arrangements
- Monitor service performance and prepare dashboards on SLAs, breaches, and trends
- Track issues, escalations, and remediation actions to ensure timely resolution
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting, and increase efficiency
What do you need to bring
- Experience in outsourcing, third-party risk, compliance, or operational risk (financial services or consulting preferred)
- Interest in European financial regulation and willingness to build expertise in this area
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data or reporting tools is a plus
- Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to translate requirements into structured processes and track execution
