This role is for a Packaging Operator II at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on manufacturing operations within the healthcare/vision sector. What you'd actually do

  1. Manually inspects cartons and/or lenses, as needed, to meet formal specification requirements to identify and isolate defects.
  2. Performs many of the responsibilities vital to operate, adjust, and maintain the Packaging cartoners.
  3. Responsible for performing accurate lot changes and documentation.
  4. Adheres to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Environmental policies and procedures and supports Department objectives.

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to operate all Packaging Equipment

Nice to have

  • visual acuity (reading fine print and inspecting lenses and cartons)
  • light lifting (Up to 23 lbs.)
  • attention to detail
  • standing, sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, grasping, reaching, pushing, talking, other, and repetitive motions (hands and arms)
