Lead and coordinate the quality team in the Paint Plant, driving defect reduction and ensuring customer receives a defect-free product. Responsibilities include leading the team to meet production goals, coaching team performance, deploying training programs, leading safety culture, communicating defects, resolving issues, auditing defect investigations, planning absences, providing quality feedback, maintaining skills matrix, participating in improvement workshops, and analyzing process failures. Requires experience in manufacturing quality processes, BIQ, defect reporting, root cause analysis, and paint practices. Strong communication, organizational, and motivational skills are essential.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading the team to meet the daily production goals on safety, quality, velocity and cost targets
  2. Actively coach, guide and mentor your teams performance and development
  3. Carry out daily communications and deploy training programs to upskill teams using lean methodologies
  4. Audit and drive defect investigations to ensure high quality product outputs
  5. Lead the team to meet the daily demand of the job and root cause analyse events leading to process failure.
