This role is for a Litigation Paralegal at Petco, responsible for managing litigation, arbitration, and legal disputes. What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the intake of all litigation, arbitration, and legal disputes, including by processing, reviewing, and responding to discovery and subpoenas.
  2. Manage the company’s process and procedures for legal responses to subpoenas and documents requests.
  3. Maintain ownership and control over legal deadlines in employment and commercial litigation matters.
  4. Coordinate with internal and external counsel regarding all litigation matters.
  5. Prepare regular reports to monitor ongoing litigation, keeping all stakeholders informed of developments and potential impacts.

Skills

Required

  • Paralegal certification from an accredited paralegal program
  • Five years of progressively responsible paralegal or related experience in a corporate Legal department, law firm environment or related field
