Part Time Preload Supervisor

This role supervises package handlers and clerks, focusing on safety, productivity, and job-related tasks. Responsibilities include training, managing attendance, fostering good working relationships, conducting meetings, and ensuring daily activities are accomplished safely and timely. Qualifications include physical ability to lift 70 lbs, flexible shift availability, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office. A Bachelor's degree and management experience are preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
  2. Facilitates training with new and current employees.
  3. Conducts and participates in group meetings.
  4. Determines best solutions for package concerns.
  5. Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.

Skills

Required

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
  • Strong problem solving skills, with ability to multitask
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
