The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
As a** Part Time Student - Manufacturing Engineer** for JD Waterloo Works located in **Waterloo, IA, **you will:
- Prints and manages emission labels and serial plates
- Creates 3D models and manages additive manufacturing processes
- Assists Manufacturing Engineering staff
- Manages digital twin activities
- Creates visual aids to support the assembly process
This position NOT available to students on immigration visas
What Skills You Need
- Ideally, you will be pursuing a degree in a technical or engineering program; others may apply
- Must be a full-time student at a local university or college
- Graduation date of Fall 2027 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn and a Sense of urgency
- Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
- Available to work 30-40 hours/week during the summer semester
- Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, IA on a regular basis.
