Partner Director - Aws Alliance Partnership, Apac

This role is for a Partner Director focused on the AWS alliance in the APAC region for OpenAI. The primary responsibility is to build and execute the regional GTM strategy with AWS, enabling partners to build and scale OpenAI-powered solutions on AWS infrastructure. This involves driving joint account planning, co-sell execution, and developing repeatable solutions and playbooks. While the role supports AI adoption and solutions, the core function is alliance management and GTM strategy, not direct AI/ML development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Jointly shape and execute the APAC AWS alliance strategy and annual operating plan with the APAC Partnerships Lead and local Partner Directors.
  2. Own the regional AWS alliance relationship and coordinate with AWS country teams alongside local Partner Directors.
  3. Build trusted relationships with AWS alliance leaders, sales teams, technical teams, cloud architects, industry leaders, and delivery stakeholders.
  4. Develop joint account plans and drive co-sell execution across AWS, local Partner Directors, OpenAI Sales teams, and services partners.
  5. Identify, shape, and accelerate qualified AWS-related opportunities and customer engagements.
