Expedia Group is seeking an Account Manager fluent in Japanese or Korean to join their Partner Growth & Agility team in Kuala Lumpur. This role focuses on optimizing hotel partner competitiveness, rates, and availability to improve conversion rates for Expedia Group travelers and B2B partners. The position involves phone-based outreach to existing accommodation partners, educating them on self-service tools, and collaborating with internal teams to drive market strategy. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in hotel sales/revenue management or account management, native proficiency in Japanese or Korean, and business-level English.

What you'd actually do

  1. Optimize rate and availability competitiveness on the Expedia platform to increase customer conversion
  2. Secure additional lodging rates and availability information over high demand and compression periods to satisfy customers’ pressing needs
  3. Coordinate with other account management teams to secure an aligned and effective level of competitiveness across high-demand Asia Pacific markets
  4. Educate hotel partners on the self-service features available on Expedia Partner Central to make them independent in managing all the core aspects of our marketplace and make the mutual business more sustainable over the partners’ lifecycle
  5. Re-establish core fundamentals to re-engage with dormant hotel partners

  • Native proficiency in Japanese or Korean Language
