Expedia Group is seeking an Associate Account Manager for Partner Growth & Agility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role focuses on optimizing hotel partner competitiveness, rates, and availability to improve conversion rates in high-demand APAC markets. The position involves phone-based outreach to existing partners, educating them on self-service tools, and collaborating with other account management teams. Native Japanese proficiency is required, along with business-level English. Experience in hotel sales, revenue management, or account management is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Optimize rate and availability competitiveness on the Expedia platform to increase customer conversion
  2. Secure additional lodging rates and availability information over high demand and compression periods to satisfy customers’ pressing needs
  3. Coordinate with other account management teams to secure an aligned and effective level of competitiveness across high-demand Asia Pacific markets
  4. Educate hotel partners on the self-service features available on Expedia Partner Central to make them independent in managing all the core aspects of our marketplace and make the mutual business more sustainable over the partners’ lifecycle
  5. Re-establish core fundamentals to re-engage with dormant hotel partners
  6. Take time to shop our sites as a traveler would to identify issues that may not have been identified by our automated shopping tools and help to identify additional root causes of uncompetitiveness
