Partner Manager focused on driving adoption and growth of OpenAI products across the Asia-Pacific region, working with partners to build consumer applications and devices. This role involves managing the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from evaluation to optimization, and acting as a bridge between global product teams and regional partners.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support strategy and execution for priority APAC partners, with a focus on product adoption, engagement and long-term user value
  2. Identify and operationalize opportunities across distribution, product integrations, and partner-led initiatives that improve user experience and accessibility
  3. Support end-to-end partnership lifecycle: evaluation, deal structuring, launch, optimization, and renewal
  4. Collaborate with APAC leadership on partner strategy, while driving execution from SF across internal teams
  5. Act as the central point of coordination between APAC partners and US-based product, engineering, legal, and marketing teams

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, product partnerships, or product within the technology industry.
  • Proven experience working with or supporting partners across APAC markets (e.g., Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia)
  • Strong understanding of regional market dynamics, distribution channels, and consumer behavior in Asia
  • Experience supporting product integrations and/or growth partnerships with measurable outcomes
  • Highly effective cross-functional operator, with experience working across product, engineering, legal, finance, and marketing
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining high execution velocity

Nice to have

  • Mandarin language proficiency preferred (business-level fluency ideal)
  • Experience working between US HQ and APAC regional teams is a strong plus
