This role is for a Partner Sales Lead in Japan for Amplitude, an AI analytics platform. The primary responsibility is to build and manage an ecosystem of partners (Consulting Partners, GSIs, Agencies) to drive the adoption of Amplitude's AI capabilities within Japanese enterprises. The role involves recruiting partners, training them on the AI-native platform, co-selling, and strategic territory planning to achieve new logo growth.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and recruit high-impact partners (GSIs, Boutique Consultancies, and MarTech Agencies) who are ready to lead their clients into an AI-first product strategy.
  2. Train and certify partners on Amplitude’s AI-native platform, ensuring they can articulate the value of automated insights and predictive analytics to their enterprise clients.
  3. Drive "Net New Logo" growth by leading joint sales cycles with partners.
  4. Take a quantitative approach to the Japan region, analyzing partner-sourced pipeline, influence maps, and historical win rates to forecast growth with precision.
  5. Work closely with our global Alliances team to localize AI-driven partner programs for the unique nuances of the Japanese business landscape.

Skills

Required

  • 12+ total years in SaaS sales or alliances
  • 5+ years specifically managing Enterprise-level partnerships in Japan (Big Data, AI, Cloud, or Analytics)
  • Understanding of the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
  • Native Japanese and Business-level English
  • Experience taking a territory from "early-stage" to "market leader"
  • Existing network of key decision-makers within Japan’s top consulting firms and technology integrators
