Partner Solutions Architect (public Sector)

Datadog is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect to support their Channels & Alliances business segment. This role involves educating partners on Datadog's platform, ensuring customer success, and driving technical initiatives like cloud migration and DevOps transformation. The PSA acts as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating with internal and partner teams to resolve technical concerns, enhance partner service offerings through Datadog adoption, and provide recommendations for new features and capabilities. The role requires a strong technical background, experience in customer/partner-facing roles, and business acumen.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure the successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources;
  2. Participate in periodic joint business planning and review sessions to ensure direct alignment between Datadog and Partner technical teams;
  3. Collaborate internally to support Partner technical initiatives such as end-customer demonstrations and proofs of value; partner team enablement workshops; assessment, advice, and coaching on lead practices;
  4. Advocate on behalf of Partners’ technical concerns (use cases, feature requests, support issues, e.g.) with Datadog internal teams and personnel, helping to bring those concerns to resolution;
  5. Analyze and understand Partner service offerings on a regular basis and provide recommendations to enhance the value of those services through greater or improved adoption of Datadog features and capabilities;

Skills

Required

  • Solid technical grounding with hands-on experience of IT Development and/or Operations
  • Demonstrable track-record and never-ending passion for learning
  • Self-starter, tech-savvy professional with solid business acumen
  • Ability to articulate Datadog value from server room to boardroom
  • Confident presentation skills
