Partner Solutions Sales Engineer

Samsara is seeking a Partner Solutions Sales Engineer to work with Fleet Management Company (FMC) partners, focusing on technical and solution-oriented conversations. The role involves providing integration support, architectural guidance, and strategic recommendations for how Samsara and FMC platforms can coexist and complement each other. The engineer will be an expert in Samsara products, features, and APIs, performing discovery into partner environments to find solution fit, determine integration scope, and identify revenue opportunities. This role requires learning FMC platforms and translating that understanding into joint solutions with Samsara.

What you'd actually do

  1. Driving engagement with Fleet Management Company partners
  2. Acting as a technical and strategic advisor on how Samsara and FMC platforms integrate, overlap, and deliver complementary value
  3. Finding solution fit with partners and fostering new technology focused opportunities
  4. Developing deep relationships with key FMC partners and becoming an expert in their platforms, workflows, and solution offerings
  5. Assisting FMC partners in leveraging Samsara’s open APIs to build scalable and impactful integrations

Skills

Required

  • 5 or more years of experience working with customers or partners in a pre sales, customer success, or technical support capacity
  • Strong aptitude for continuous learning and professional growth
  • Ability to influence stakeholders using technical sales acumen and a solid understanding of business processes and change management
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non technical audiences
  • Experience managing hardware and or software product evaluations
  • Willingness to travel to support partners and customers, including onsite engagements when required
  • Experience integrating SaaS platforms
