This role is a pre-sales technical advisor for channel partners, focusing on cybersecurity and networking solutions. It involves technical enablement, solution alignment, presentations, and demonstrations to accelerate product adoption and drive customer outcomes. The role requires establishing trusted advisor relationships, developing technical enablement plans, articulating F5's value proposition, and providing consultative support.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key channel partners.
  2. Develop and manage technical enablement plans for aligned channel partners.
  3. Articulate the F5 sales strategy, messaging, and positioning F5 value proposition for customer business objectives.
  4. Provide solution design ideas aligned with customers' desired business outcomes.
  5. Articulate technical and business value of F5 Solutions against competitors.

Skills

Required

  • network, security and/or web technologies
  • pre-sales experience
  • DevOps/DevSecOps mentorship including training material, standard methodologies, reusable code
  • DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube, Docker
  • cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare, OpenStack
  • container orchestrators such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Swarm
  • application development languages like Python, Java, JavaScript
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
