Partnerships Lead for OpenAI's Health & Life Sciences team, focusing on strategic initiatives, identifying and structuring high-impact partnerships with healthcare organizations, life sciences companies, research institutions, and data ecosystems to apply advanced AI to problems in patient care, drug discovery, and biological research. This role involves evaluating datasets, benchmarks, and collaborations to improve OpenAI's models and products, and working cross-functionally with Research, Applied, Product, Legal, Policy, Safety, and GTM teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities across healthcare, biotech, pharma, life sciences, and research ecosystems.
  2. Assess datasets, benchmarks, workflows, and collaborations for their potential to improve OpenAI’s models, evaluations, products, or strategic position.
  3. Structure and negotiate partnerships spanning data access, research collaborations, commercial deployments, product integrations, and ecosystem alliances.
  4. Translate ambiguous external opportunities into clear internal recommendations, priorities, milestones, and execution plans.
  5. Partner closely with Research, Applied, Product, Legal, Policy, Safety, and GTM teams to diligence and launch partnerships.
